GOD’S NOT AFRAID OF THE DARK  (3)

Part of having the right vision is knowing that all of the power, ability, and glory is The Lord’s. You see, God is not afraid of the dark because He has dominion over all. His Light overtakes the darkest of darkness in every situation. But in order for the Light to manifest itself in our lives, we must invoke it by faith.

Victory does not come because of our strength, but because of His strength. When we rely upon His power we can move forward.

1 Jn. 1:5, This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all.

In Ephesians 6:12, we read:
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"

We need to recognize that flesh and blood cannot overcome the attacks that come to us in the spiritual realm (This statement is worth spending some meditation time on! Let it sink in good and deep! 


This is among the reasons why God sent The Holy Spirit; to equip and empower us to live for Him and to stand strong against our spiritual enemies. Zechariah 4:6 says that "It’s not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith The Lord of hosts"
The LAST thing we need to be doing is quenching the very Spirit that has been sent to help us!
1 Thessalonians 5:19, Do not quench the Spirit.

In all of life’s circumstances, Jesus said for us to be of good cheer because He has overcome the world. As the apostle Paul asks in Romans 8:31, "If God is for us, who can be against us?"
